A long time resident of Tenants Harbor, Charles DuBack came to Maine to attend the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture. He began his career as an artist in New York where he shared an apartment with Alex Katz and Bernard "Blackie" Langlais. Charlie's work can be found in numerous public and private collections around the world.
More of Charlie's works in a number of mediums (collage, watercolor, oil, pastel and silkscreen) and covering the period 1959 to 2009 are available at our affiliated website, Maine Art Collectors. All of the works are from Charlie's estate.
